Meet Guinevere, the Most Refined and Devastatingly Gorgeous Ladycat!

fancy capital Guinevere Pumpkin, renowned feline extraordinaire, was born on July 7, 1993, on Long Island, New York. But the bright lights of New York City soon beckoned her to big city life. Now a charmingly sophisticated New Yorker, this beautiful purr-sonification of feline femininity is a founder and charter member of the most august and exclusive Society for Refined Ladies. Unfailingly modest, charming, and gracious, she rules her home with a dazzlingly white velvet paw.

Among the current purr-suits to which she devotes her attention are training of her younger sisters, Rapunzel and Scarlett, in the ways of a true Nurse Guinevere the Good ladycat (her newest sister, Dulcinea, needs no such help, being a princess herself); attempting to dig a tunnel through the side of the bathtub; and supervising the activities of her human. She also enjoys sleeping on top of the refrigerator, eating turkey-flavored treats, and hiding from strange noises.

Having absorbed a vast amount of nursing knowledge by reclining atop stacks of the Cherry Ames books that her humble human collects, she considers Guinevere Gownherself an honors graduate of the illustrious Cherry Ames School of Nursing and Crime Solving. As Nurse Guinevere the Good, she provides tender loving care to her pitiful patients and investigates the baffling mysteries that sometimes plague them, such as "Who left that hairball on the rug?"

Guinevere believes that refinement is both the blessing and the duty of all felines. She has very firmly established certain rules that everyone in her household is expected to obey: no loud noises, no dropping things on the floor, no sudden alteration of routine, no disturbing her. Though she loves humanity, she is not too sure about humans. A wonderfully elegant and beautiful cat, she prefers to be admired from afar.

Alas for all you potential suitors who are justifiably dazzled by her beauty, goodness, and elegance, Guinevere's heart belongs to the noble Sir Snickerdoodles, her Siamese sweetie. Sadly, the great Snickers fell ill and died shortly after Thanksgiving 2002; Guinevere is bereft.
